A brief on the expectations from all the church communities and Parishioners on the day of our cultural feast day celebration on Sunday 04 August 2024
1. There will be cultural dance and musical presentation by all communities.
2. There will be thanksgiving by all societies and communities in the church with livestock. food items etc.
3. All parishioners are expected to dress in their cultural attire and showcase their cultural heritage.
4. Each community is expected to present a gift to the our Auxiliary Bishop.
5. Each community is expected to prepare food to feed all their community members.
6. Each community is expected to present food to the high table.
7. On the day of our cultural feast day celebration, all Parishioners will not be allowed to park their cars in the church premises to avail us enough space for all our activities.
8. Parishioners who live close to the church (in phase 2 & 3) are kindly encouraged to take a walk to the church.
9. We wish to invite all Chairpersons and Secretaries of the 6 communities to our weekly meetings on Saturdays at 6.00 p.m. at the church premises.
10. The time of Mass on Sunday 04 August 2024 is 9am.
11. All Catechumen (those for confirmation) are expected to be seated in church at 8am prompt.
12. We would like to appeal to all parents to prepare and ensure they bring their children for confirmation to church latest by 8.00 a.m.
13. We wish to make a special appeal to our dear parishioners, that there will be a general collection next Sunday, July 21,2024 in support of our 2024 Cultural and Feast Day Celebrations.
14. Lastly, a gentle reminder and appeal to parishioners who were given letters from the 2024 Cultural and Feast Day Committee, that we await their response.
