Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ.
INDEFINITE SUSPENSION OF THE 2024 ARCHDIOCESE OF ABUJA GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
Peace be with you.
You are all aware of the current happenings in our country, in respect of the ongoing protest. The general atmosphere has remained tensed, creating a lot of fear and suspicion across the country.
After due consultations with the relevant security agencies and concerned citizens, it has become necessary to suspend the General Assembly indefinitely pending when the situation and atmosphere will be friendly.
We regret the inconveniences the suspension will bring on all those who have had restless months of planning. We hope that things will get better very soon.
We urge you all to continue to pray for peace in our dear country Nigeria.
